Royal Palace Collection
The Tower of London’s Crown Jewels and lavish 17th century interiors of Hampton Court Royal Palace and gardens inspired the collaboration between Hobbs London and Historic Royal Palaces. The result is a collection rich in royal history.
The latest collaboration in Hobbs series with Historic Royal Palaces has been inspired by Queen Victoria’s childhood home, Kensington Palace, and her renowned love of horses. With a story to tell behind every garment, this collection of limited edition pieces is unique to Hobbs, and made exclusively for you.
The Palace Collection is the essence of luxury, featuring a number of exquisite textures such as the Royal Stewart tartan; passed down through several generations of Stewarts, today this is the personal tartan of Queen Elizabeth II. Contemporary check suiting is inspired by Queen Victoria’s own tartan silk scarf, currently on display at Kensington Palace, while floral jacquards and prints portray the sunken gardens for which the grounds of the palace are renowned.
